first thing you notice when you open the box. the camera bump is MASSIVE. like why is it so big. but then you realize ok maybe theres a reason. cuz the camera is actually insane.
design and build – heavy af
honestly tho. this phone is heavy. like really really heavy. my hand hurts after using for sometime. not gonna lie. but it also feels strong. like if you drop it maybe it wont break easily. i didnt drop it yet tho so dont ask me.
back is leather on my version. feels nice. not slippery. thats good. the metal sides are shiny. looks premium but fingerprints show easily.
and the phone does not lie flat on table. cuz of that camera bump. so when you type it wobbles. little annoying but you get used to it i guess.
display – bright and smooth
screen is big. 6.7 something inches. very sharp. colors look good. not too much not too less.
120hz refresh rate makes everything smooth. scrolling twitter, instagram, youtube — all smooth. no lag.
brightness is very high. like under sunlight you can see everything clearly. thats a big plus.
only problem is the screen comes with plastic protector. attracts fingerprints alot. i removed it after 2 days. much better now.
performance – fast but gets warm
processor is snapdragon 8 gen 4. fastest one right now. apps open very fast. like blink and its open. no joke.
i played cod mobile on max settings. 120fps. worked perfect. no lag at all.
but here’s the thing. after 20-25 minutes of gaming, phone gets warm. not hot hot but warm. you can feel it. xiaomi says its normal. maybe it is. but still.
multitasking is great. i keep many apps open. no problem.
camera is very Good the best part honestly
ok so camera. this is why you buy this phone.
main camera has 1 inch sensor. very big for phone. low light photos are amazing. like seriously amazing. i took a photo at night and it looked like daytime. not even lying.
zoom is also good. upto 10x optical zoom. at 10x photos are still clear. at 30x its ok. at 100x honestly not useful. just a gimmick.
portrait mode works nice. background blur looks natural. face details are sharp but not fake sharp.
video recording is 8k but i never use that. 4k 60fps is enough for me. stabilization is good. walking and recording looks smooth.
one problem. night mode takes 2-3 seconds to process. if you’re in a hurry, you might miss the moment. thats little annoying.
battery and charging – this is crazy good
battery is 5500mah. lasts full day easily. i wake up at 8am, use phone whole day, at 11pm still 20-30% left.
but charging. oh man charging. 120w fast charging. from 0 to 100% in like 20 minutes. TWENTY MINUTES. you plug it in, go take shower, come back and its full. thats insane.
wireless charging is 50w. also fast.
charger comes in the box. yes inside. not like apple or samsung where you have to buy seperately. good job xiaomi.
software – hyperos
its based on android 15. looks cleaner than old miui. animations are smooth. less bloatware now but still some apps you dont want.
good things – customizable control center, always on display, floating windows.I personaly Prefer you this phone.
bad things about it , sometimes notification panel stutters. not always but sometimes. also some apps dont show notifications properly. hope they fix with updates.
not a dealbreaker but yeah.
speakers and sound
speakers are loud. clear enough for youtube and tiktok. not as good as iphone but fine. bass is not very strong.
haptics are good. typing feels nice.
what i dont like (honest)
ok let me be real. no phone is perfect.
too heavy. 230 grams is too much. my wrist hurts.
big camera bump. phone wobbles on table.
heats up when gaming or recording 4k video.
software has small bugs.
night mode processing is slow.
no sd card slot. 256gb is fine but still.
plastic screen protector from factory sucks.

should you buy this phone?
look. if you love photography and you want best camera phone, buy this. yes. camera is amazing. charging is crazy fast. performance is top.
but if you want light weight phone or clean software like pixel, then maybe no.
for me? im keeping it. camera is worth the heavy weight.
price is around 1000-1100 dollars. not cheap but for what you get, its good value.
