Okay so let me just say this straight up. Vivo V60 is not that phone which you see in ads and go “woah”. No. It’s just a normal phone. But you know what? Sometimes normal is all you need.
I’ve used this phone for a bit, and here’s what I really think.
First thing first – how does it feel in hand?
Light. Like really light. You hold it and it doesn’t feel like you’re carrying a brick. The back is plastic but it doesn’t look cheap or anything. And thank God it doesn’t slip. I hate phones that slip from your hand like soap. This one stays put.

Screen – not great but not bad
It’s 6.58 inches. But bro, it’s HD+ only. Means if you look very close, yeah you’ll see some pixels. But honestly, who looks that close? For normal watching – YouTube, TikTok, Instagram reels – it’s totally fine. One thing though, if you go outside in bright sun, screen looks a bit dull. Indoors, no problem at all.
Battery – this one surprised me
5000mAh. Look, I’m not gonna give you fake numbers. In real life, if you use your phone like a normal person – calls, WhatsApp, some YouTube, little bit of Instagram – you will easily get one full day. Sometimes one and a half day if you don’t use much. Charging is slow though. It takes like 2 hours to fully charge. So what I do is just plug it in when I sleep. Wakes up with me.
Camera – daytime hero, nighttime zero
So it has a 50MP camera. Sounds big right? But here’s the reality. During the day, if there’s good light, photos come out nice. Colors look real, not fake. But at night? Honestly just don’t bother. Low light photos come out blurry and noisy. Front camera is 8MP – okay for selfies but nothing special.
Performance – does the job, nothing more
Inside the phone there’s MediaTek Helio G85. I don’t wanna sound like a tech guy so let me put it simple. Normal stuff? Works great. WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Google Pay, Spotify – all run smooth. But gaming? I tried playing Free Fire and after some time the phone got warm and started lagging a little. So yeah, casual gaming is fine. Heavy gaming? Not really.

Storage – you won’t run out
128GB inside. And you can put a memory card too. So if you like taking photos, downloading movies, saving music – you’re good. No need to keep deleting stuff every week.
What this phone does NOT have
I think it’s fair I tell you the bad stuff too right?

- No fast charging (be ready to wait a bit)
- No AMOLED screen (it’s regular LCD)
- Night camera is weak (I already told you)
Who should actually buy this?
Look, I’m not gonna sell you anything. Buy this phone if:
- You’re a student and money is tight
- You want a phone for your parents (they’ll love the battery)
- You need a second phone just for basic use
- You don’t care about fancy features and just want something reliable
Who should avoid?
- If you love gaming, skip it
- If you need 5G, skip it
- If you take lots of night photos, skip it
- If you want to show off your phone to friends, skip it (this is not that phone).
- Vivo V60 is like that honest friend who tells you the truth. It’s not flashy. It’s not cool. But it works. Battery lasts long. Daily stuff runs fine. No headaches. No big problems.
If you want a cheap phone that just works without any drama – yeah go for it. But if you’re expecting flagship features at a low price – then no, don’t buy it.
