iPhone 17 Pro Specifications & Price in Pakistan - Complete Guide 2026

First thing you need to know is that Apple finally fixed the biggest problem with iPhone cameras. You know how on old iPhones the main lens was amazing but then when you switched to the ultra wide or the zoom lens the photo suddenly looked worse? Like less detail and more noise? Yeah that was annoying.

Well on the 17 Pro Max all three lenses are 48 megapixels. Main one. Ultra wide. Telephoto. All three. So now when you switch between them the quality stays the same. No more oh I should have used a different lens. Just point and shoot and it looks good.

Iphone 17Pro Specs and Price Details

Now let me talk about the main camera first because that’s the one you’ll use the most.

It’s 48 megapixels with something called f/1.78 aperture. I don’t really know what that number means if I’m being honest but the reviewers say it lets in more light. What that means for you is better photos when the sun goes down. Less grain and less blur.

And the colors are better now. Older iPhones sometimes made people’s skin look a little yellow. Like you haven’t slept in a week or you have some kind of liver problem. Not anymore. Skin looks natural. My friend has this phone and he sent me a photo of his daughter and I couldn’t believe how real her skin looked. Not fake and smoothed out like some Android phones do. Just real.

You can shoot in 12 megapixel or 24 or full 48. Most people should just leave it on 24. That’s what the reviewers say. You get good detail but the file isn’t huge.

Okay now the ultra wide lens.

This one was only 12 megapixels on the old phone. Now it’s 48. That’s a big jump bro.

What does that mean when you’re actually taking photos? Group pictures look way sharper. When you take a photo of a mountain or a big building the edges don’t look soft and weird anymore. And macro photos when you get really close to something small like a coin or a flower are surprisingly good. You can see tiny little details you didn’t even notice with your own eyes.

Now the zoom lens. This one is interesting and a little confusing so let me explain slowly.

The zoom lens is 48 megapixels with 4x optical zoom. Wait you might say the 16 Pro Max had 5x zoom so this is worse? I thought the same thing at first.

But here’s what Apple did. Because the sensor is now 48 megapixels instead of 12 they can crop into the image and still keep good quality. So you get something they call optical quality zoom up to 8x.

In real life what does that mean? Photos at 4x look incredible. Sharp and bright and full of detail. Photos at 8x look really good too especially when there’s plenty of light. When it gets dark the 8x photos get a little soft and you can see some noise but they’re still usable. The old iPhone couldn’t do 8x photos that looked anywhere near this good.

The sensor is 56 percent larger than last year’s zoom lens. Bigger sensor means more light and more light means better low light photos. Also means less blur when your hands are shaking because you haven’t had your coffee yet.

Max digital zoom is 40x but bro don’t use that unless you really have to. Anything past like 12x starts to look like a painting. It’s fine for reading a sign that’s far away but not for photos you want to show anyone.

Now the selfie camera. I didn’t expect much from a selfie camera to be honest. But Apple actually did something cool here.

The selfie camera is 18 megapixels now up from 12. But that’s not the best part. The best part is the sensor is almost square shaped. Which means you can take horizontal selfies while holding your phone vertically. So if you’re taking a group photo with your friends you don’t have to turn your phone sideways anymore. The phone just figures it out.

There’s this feature called Center Stage. It automatically zooms and moves the frame to keep everyone in the shot. Works for photos and videos. If you’re making a TikTok or Instagram reel by yourself it follows you as you move around. If you’re with friends it tries to keep all of you in the frame. Sometimes it’s a little slow but when it works it feels like magic.

And there’s something called Dual Capture. You can record video using both the front and back cameras at the same time. The front camera shows up as a small window in the corner and you can move that window around while you’re recording. If you make reaction videos or unboxing videos or tutorials this is really useful. You don’t have to edit two videos together later.

Now let me talk about video because bro this is where iPhone has always been the best and nothing has changed.

You can shoot 4k at 120 frames per second. That’s slow motion in full 4k quality. It’s insane. You could film a drop of water falling and see every tiny splash and it would look like something from a nature documentary.

There’s also ProRes RAW and Apple Log 2. I don’t really understand these things but the video editors on YouTube say it’s amazing. Basically means you get way more control when you’re editing on a computer.

Cinematic mode is still there. It blurs the background behind people so it looks like a movie. Sometimes it makes mistakes and blurs the wrong thing but when it works it looks great.

Action mode is also there for when you’re running or in a moving car. The video stays surprisingly stable. Not as good as a gimbal but way better than nothing.

One thing to know no 8k video yet. Some Android phones have it but honestly 4k is enough for almost everyone. And the quality you get at 4k on this iPhone is better than what most Androids give you at 8k.

There’s a new camera button on the side of the phone. You press it to open the camera. Press it again to take a photo. Press and hold to record video.

Sounds good right? But bro some people don’t like it. Here’s why. When you press the button the phone moves a little bit. And that little movement can blur your photo especially when it’s dark and the camera needs to stay still.

Once you get used to it it’s fine. You learn to press it gently. But the first few days expect some blurry shots. Some people love the button. Some people ignore it and just use the screen. It’s not a deal breaker either way.

You also asked about gaming so let me tell you about that quickly.

The A19 Pro chip is really fast. Apple says it has 40 percent better sustained performance than the old one. That’s a lot.

And there’s something new for cooling. A vapor chamber. Fancy words that mean the phone doesn’t get as hot as old iPhones when you play games for a long time.

In real life games run smooth. Call of Duty. Genshin Impact. PUBG. All of them. The 120hz screen makes everything look buttery smooth.

But bro I have to be honest. It’s still not a gaming phone. It doesn’t have a fan inside like the RedMagic or ROG phones. If you play for two or three hours straight it will get warm. Not as hot as the old one but warm. And eventually the screen brightness will drop to protect the phone.

For normal people who play games for 30 or 40 minutes here and there you’ll be completely happy. For hardcore gamers who play tournaments get a gaming phone.

Now battery life. Bro this thing lasts forever.

I read a review from CNET. They said the iPhone 17 Pro Max has the best battery life of any phone they have ever tested. Ever in their whole history.

Up to 39 hours of video playback. That’s almost two full days of watching movies without stopping.

In real life you wake up at 8am use your phone all day for calls and texts and Instagram and YouTube and some gaming and some photos and you go to bed at midnight and you still have battery left. Heavy users get a full day. Light users get two days.

Charging is faster now too. 40 watts with a wire. 0 to 50 percent in about 20 minutes. Full charge in about an hour. Wireless charging is 25 watts with MagSafe.

One thing I learned if you buy the version with a physical SIM card slot like we have in India the battery is a little smaller. About 4800 something instead of 5000 something. Still great but the US version has better battery life. Just so you know.

The phone looks different now. The old square camera bump is gone. Now there’s a horizontal bar that goes all the way across the back. Apple calls it the camera plateau.

Does it look good? I don’t know bro some people say it looks like a Google Pixel. Some people love it. Some people hate it. I think it looks bold. Different. Like Apple is trying something new instead of doing the same thing every year.

But there’s a good thing about it. Because the bar is wider the phone doesn’t wobble when you lay it on a table. Remember how old iPhones would rock back and forth when you tried to use them flat on a desk? That doesn’t happen anymore. That’s actually really nice.

The phone is made of aluminum now not titanium. Apple says aluminum is better for heat. The downside is aluminum scratches more easily than titanium. So put a case on it if you care about scratches.

The screen is 6.9 inches. 120hz. OLED. All the fancy words. Everything looks amazing. Colors are bright. Blacks are actually black not dark gray. Scrolling is smooth.

One thing the phone is big bro. Really big. If you have small hands you might struggle to use it with one hand. Go to a store and hold one before you buy it. Seriously.

Now who should buy this phone?

Buy it if you take photos seriously and you want all three lenses to be good not just the main one. Buy it if you shoot video for social media or for work because this is still the best video phone you can buy. Buy it if you want the best battery life of any phone on the market. Buy it if you keep your phone for four or five years and want updates the whole time. Buy it if you already have a Mac or iPad or Apple Watch and want everything to work together.

Don’t buy it if you’re on a budget because this phone is expensive bro really expensive. The 2 terabyte model goes up to almost two thousand dollars. Don’t buy it if you need expandable storage because there’s no SD card slot. What you buy is what you get forever. Don’t buy it if you’re a hardcore gamer who plays for hours every day. Get a gaming phone with a fan. Don’t buy it if you hate big heavy phones because this thing is a chunk of glass and metal.

My final honest opinion bro.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max is a camera phone first. Everything else is there to support the camera.

The all 48 megapixel system is a real upgrade. Not marketing nonsense. Photos look great across all three lenses. Video is the best you can get on any phone. The selfie camera actually has useful new features for once. And the battery life is the best ever tested.

Is it perfect? No. The new camera button takes getting used to. The aluminum frame scratches easier than titanium. It’s stupid expensive. And if you’re a hardcore gamer there are better options for less money.

But if you care about photography and videography? If you want a phone that takes amazing photos and videos without carrying a separate camera? Yeah bro. This is the one.

You won’t regret buying it. Unless you hate big phones. Then you’ll regret it every time you try to put it in your pocket.
